Carmella Bond Jackson (MS, MBA, LPC, CAADC, SAP) is an addiction and trauma specialist with 15+ years of experience helping individuals, couples and families travel the road to recovery. She has worked as a sexual abuse case manager, drug and alcohol counselor, trauma group facilitator and military family consultant. Her approach is integrative rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to assist in the development of new, applicable coping skills, constructive processing and identification of concrete ways of managing after the therapeutic experience has ended.
Jackson has training for sexual addiction and gambling addiction as well as certification as a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) and is able to evaluate employees performing safety sensitive duties who have violated testing regulations.
Carmella Jackson has a long history of working with individuals and families within the LGBTQ community, therefore she can cater to the specific issues for said community.
She has also received training specific to working with veterans and military families impacted by combat stress/PTSD.
She can offer individual and group clinical supervision to LPC candidates.
